RADIO FREQUENCY SKIN TIGHTENING

Transformative Results.

What is the treatment?

Cellulite is the lumpy, dimpled flesh on the thighs, buttocks, hips and abdomen. It is not a serious or painful condition. However, cellulite can embarrass you and make you self conscious. It is mostly seen in adolescent and adult females. It tends to run in the family. Fat cells inside the organs accumulate and push up against the skin creating an uneven surface or dimpling. There is no need to treat cellulite as it causes no harm to your body but you can see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon if it embarrasses you. There are several treatments available to get rid of it. These are weight loss, lasers and radio frequency systems, liposuction, topical treatment and ultrasound.

If you are overweight or obese, losing weight will help you lose some cellulite. Remember that doing this will not make it go away completely but will just reduce it. Lasers and radio frequency systems are the most popular way of treating cellulite. Tissue massage, radio frequency technology and infrared light are combined by one system to treat cellulite. Another system will deliver combined tissue massage with diode laser energy.

Radiofrequency at deep and superficial levels will be used by yet another system to treat cellulite. During liposuction, tiny incisions will be made in your skin. A narrow tube will be inserted through them to suck out the fat cells. 0.3 percent retinol cream is also known to improve the appearance of cellulite when applied twice a day for six months. Ultrasound is a non invasive procedure that reduces fat from thighs and abdomen by the use of sound waves.

Thigh cellulite is another common concern, and there are several treatments available to reduce its appearance. One popular option is acoustic wave therapy, which uses sound waves to break down fat cells and increase collagen production. Another option is laser therapy, which uses heat to destroy fat cells and improve skin texture.

Velashape III is perhaps the most effective treatment for thigh cellulite. It is a non-invasive treatment option for cellulite. Duing a VelaShape III treatment, the handheld device is moved over the thigh area, delivering radiofrequency energy and infrared light to the underlying tissue.

The vacuum suction and mechanical massage help to improve circulation, lymphatic drainage, and the penetration of the radiofrequency energy and light. This combination of technologies heats the fat cells and stimulates collagen production, which can improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of cellulite in the thighs.

There are hundreds of RF machines in the market today and they all vary in power and a number of different specifications.

There are also tens of thousands of RF operators around the world and they are all different in terms of their training, knowledge, experience and the technique/protocols they utilise.

Even with the same equipment, each operator provides a different treatment, according to their knowledge, experience and limitations of the equipment. Therefore it can be said that there are tens of thousands of different radiofrequency treatments available today.

Therefore, just like ‘massage’ the words ‘radio frequency treatment’ can mean anything or nothing. So not all radiofrequency treatments are the same: effectiveness can range from almost zero to impressive. The best RF treatment is the one applied with the highest specification equipment, provided by the best trained therapist and with the best protocols.

With such variability in technology and experience, the following question arises: how can a customer know which treatment is the best?

This is a very common question that I hear from prospective clients, as they are confused by conflicting information from both the press/influencers and from clinics/salons. Predictably, everyone claims their treatment or equipment is the best.

Every cellulite removal treatment aims to remove cellulite or improve its appearance. Using Radio Frequency for body contouring and cellulite removal is an effective option for eliminating the excessive formation of bumpy fats. Radiofrequency treatment helps remove cellulite by stimulating
collagen production and targeting subcutaneous fat deposits. This treatment is safe and non-invasive as it only targets the deep skin tissues and does not harm the surface skin. The destroyed fat cells exit the body naturally through the lymphatic system. As a result of the radiofrequency waves, collagen and elastin production increases, making the skin firmer and tighter.
